SYSTEM ARCHITECT, AUTOMOTIVE INFOTAINMENT
Work Location: Italy, Perugia area
Role Overview:
We are looking for a System Architect to support the Customer, a global leading car maker into Luxury Vehicles industry, in effectively managing cutting-edge Automotive Infotainment production programs.
As part of this role, the System Architect is expected to define the technical objectives and guide the suppliers to improve the quality of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- oversee supplier team of Electronic System Architects (Systems, HW and SW) who will define, develop and maintain system architecture for cockpit electronic modules;
- ensure that selected architecture fulfills requirements in functionality, performance, quality and timing;
- develop Continuous improvement initiatives with the team (Process, Tools and execution);
- facilitate smooth communication between testing teams at Italy and India.
Skills/Requirements
- experience in Software / System Architect role in Automotive Infotainment programs for 5-10 years, with strong expertise on similar systems (i. e. deep dive kernel, middleware, application components, SW development on ARM architectures etc);
- sound knowledge in Infotainment system level requirements, features, performance KPIs, test environments and complete product development cycles;
- ability to convert system requirements to hardware and software requirement specifications;
- sound knowledge in embedded operating systems like Linux, at all levels (HMI to kernel level. Knowledge of Android would be advantageous);
- experience in multi-core Software Architecture Design;
- experience with Requirements Management using standard tools like DOORS/Polarion;
- excellent communication, facilitation, moderation and interpersonal skills to interface with Customer, Supplier and other internal stakeholders;
- fluent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English are essential.
